Tidal Generation Limited is developing tidal turbines to generate electricity from tidal flows. We have an innovative concept for a fully submerged machine which is designed for reliability and economy. Each machine will produce sufficient electricity to power 650 homes.
We are currently working on a prototype, to be installed at the European Marine Energy Centre in Orkney. We anticipate starting to make a significant contribution to UK energy needs by 2010 with our low carbon, cost-effective technology. |
